The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work directly with clients and execute service strategies.Duties:Provide legal advice and counsel on labor and employment matters to clients.Draft, review, and negotiate various employment-related agreements and documents.Represent clients in labor and employment litigation proceedings, including hearings and trials.Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters.Assist with compliance efforts related to employment laws and regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing labor and employment law.Experience in higher education law is highly desirable.Superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and develop service strategies.Licensed to practice in New York State or eligible to waive into the New York State Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York State Bar.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Team player with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
