Volt is immediately hiring Lab Tech 1, in Maplewood, MN, with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will perform chemical, physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.This is a first shift position.As a Lab Tech 1, you will: * Prepare materials and organize for product testing. * Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research. * Perform chemical and mechanical tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. * Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment.Estimated Duration 24+ months.The ideal candidate will have: * Associates Degree or higher (preferred) * Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience. * Experience use in Excel and Word. * Proven ability to problem-solve and implement solutions. * Demonstrated experience using power tools and testing equipment. * Ability to take instructions (verbal and written) and complete a task with little or no supervision: Pay Rate: $22.00 with Vacation pay, holiday and sick time benefits offered! *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
