Summary As a QA Lab Manager you will be responsible for planning, building, maintaining, and improving the QA test lab infrastructure that supports the validation activities of an organization that develops a cloud video surveillance solution. You will be responsible for a lab made up of surveillance equipment including cameras, switches, bridges and other devices that are used for manual testing, automated testing, and remote debugging. This is a hands-on role. You will be successful if you have previous experience with configuring and installing both hardware and software. You should be at ease working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in which developing and cultivating partnerships with multifunctional teams is key to long term success. A start-up mindset is required as we are always looking for creative ways to take on problems and increase the overall quality of our products.Position is located on site, 5 days a week, in Austin, TX. Experience 2+ years as a Lab Manager, Software tester, or Hardware tester for a company that builds cloud connected devices and services Experience working in an agile development environment An understanding of modern tools and technologies needed to support large scale distributed systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Virtualization, etc.) An understanding of Network switches, cabling, and TCP/IP setup Experience troubleshooting and resolving networking issues Experience building and maintaining QA lab hardware setups with asset tracking Experience with development and testing tools including Jira, Qmetry etc. Problem solver with excellent communication and documentation skills Understanding and expertise in the security, surveillance or IOT domains is a huge plus Why work for Eagle Eye?
