Job Title : Knowledge Management Advisor (KMA) Location : Fort Sill, OK Position Description :The Knowledge Management Advisor (KMA) will provide Knowledge Management Support Services (KMSS) to the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) Staff, Field Artillery School, Air Defense School, and Fires Warfighters. The FCoE with coordination from the Field Artillery School and the Air Defense Artillery (ADA) School are responsible for the development and execution of the Army's lifelong learning process by fully supporting the Operating and Generating formations. The successful advisor will be responsible for the following: Advise the Fort Sill Staffs, BDEs, ADA/ FA Commandants and FCoE directorates for all matters KM related including: Process Improvement, Identifying Knowledge gaps, and knowledge transfers using various collaborative Web Based Knowledge Environments. Identify and recommend enhancements to the KM program, coordinate with the web engineer to make changes in the FCoE Web Based Knowledge Environment. Conduct ongoing analysis of content delivered to targeted communities through the various KM environments. Determine if the content is being consumed and is relevant to knowledge requirements. Recommend content changes based upon results of the ongoing analysis. Present information in the Program Analysis and Trends report each month. Develop strategies for using the various knowledge environments to achieve knowledge management objectives defined in the FCoE KM Strategic Plan. Collect and analyze survey data and provide a monthly summary report. Participate in knowledge management meetings. Develop and provide KM briefings and classes for FCoE staffs and students focusing on Professional Military Education classes. Education and Experience Requirements : Maintain the KM Institute Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certificate. Have 15 or more years' experience supporting Air Defense and/or Field Artillery units at or above Battalion level. Familiarity with how the FCoE Fort Sill is organized and the functions performed within each organization. The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
