Cambria Hotel is hiring a Kitchen Manager as we continue to grow. In this role you will direct all kitchen activities which include our upscale bistro, bar, and small catering events booked in our conference rooms. You will ensure quality, maintenance, and inventory functions are kept to high standards. You will have the ability to create menu items as well as add local craft beers. Full-Time position with benefits (medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; vacation/sick pay) Salary - $40,000 to $50,000 based on experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Interviews, hires, evaluates, and disciplines kitchen personnel as appropriate. Orientates and trains kitchen personnel in property and departmental rules, policies, and procedures. Responsible for food production principles and practices. Establishes quality standards for all menu items and for food production practices. Trains and supervises personnel in preparing, cooking, and serving. Schedules kitchen employees in conjunction with business forecasts and predetermined budget. Completes monthly inventories. Qualifications and Requirements: One plus years' experience in kitchen operations. One plus years' in supervising/managing a team. Degree or certificate in culinary arts preferred.
