***Important: We are a Spirit-filled, non-denominational Church. We emphasize the importance of the Bible and also believe that the Holy Spirit still moves and speaks in miraculous ways today! Must be what is commonly referred to as "Spirit-Filled"***Responsible for leading a team of volunteers in developing and leading a dynamic and safe ministry to children.Responsible for Sunday and Wednesday curriculum research, implementation, and community outreach for nursery through 5th grade.Responsible for Vacation Bible School curriculum research, implementation, and community outreach for nursery through 8th grade. Responsible for policy and procedures for the following areas: Kid's Check-In, volunteer responsibilities, classroom behavior, discipline, and safety protocolsResponsible for recruitment and training of volunteers, including conducting background checks on potential candidatesResponsible for scheduling a team of volunteers for Wednesday and Sunday services. As well as when required for extra events as needed. Responsible for correspondence to first-time guests, (both children and parents), welcoming them to our ministry, and being available to the needs of their families. Responsible for, alongside the Lead Pastor, the overall Kids' Ministry Vision, how to implement it, and how to sustain it. Responsible for praying for the children and their families regularly.Responsible for praying for the volunteers of the kid's ministry, the staff & congregation of the church, and the surrounding community regularly.Ensure that classrooms, supply closets, and kids ministry office are kept stocked with supplies, kept neat, and organized. Properly communicate the needs of the kid's ministry to the staff, Lead Pastor, and at times the congregation.To be an advocate for the kids of the kid's ministry and the volunteers.Ensure that volunteers are shown appreciation through words and actions.
