City Tree Christian School is a wonderful community of teachers, staff, and families working together to educate our children in a loving Christian environment. We are a ministry of First Presbyterian Church committed to integrating educational excellence with the Bible-based teachings of Jesus Christ. We are an ethnically and socio-economically diverse school located in downtown San Diego. About 200 students attend our school-age infants through eighth grade. Our school is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Full-time contracted teacher, responsible for teaching all subject areas to a group of approximately 12-20 students in a self-contained classroom. We desire a dependable, mature, and responsible person who is able to integrate their love for Christ with their teaching. We especially desire applicants interested in grades 3-5. Exact grade level placement will depend on abilities and experience. Our elementary school operates on a traditional school year calendar (late August - mid June). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and teaching credential required. Experience with children essential. Salary range $41,000-$55,000, depending on education and experience.
