Junior Tax Accountant Location: Secaucus, NJ/Hybrid Duration: 6 months with possible extension Description: Responsibilities include: Prepare check requests for co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions. Process co-sourced returns, estimates and extensions. Ensure the tax calendar is accurate and up to date. Assist with tax notices. Assist with preparation of federal 1120's and state income and franchise tax returns. Assist with preparation of state income / franchise tax returns. Assist with preparation of state tax estimates and extensions for various states. Assist with calculation of state and local tax apportionment factors. Required Knowledge: Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail. Utilizes good time management and prioritizes tasks. Knowledge of Corptax US Compliance tax software is a plus. Education: Accounting or Finance Degree required.
