Summary The Junior Network Administrator will ensure the stable operation of the enterprise computer network and implement and/or facilitate the initiatives of Chief Information Officer Duties/Responsibilities Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network hardware, software and communication links Primarily working from 10am-7pm during fall-spring semester. Coordinating AV projects in collaboration with helpdesk manager Assisting in helpdesk operations to deploy technology Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades and repairs Develop, implement, and maintain the policies and procedures for network resource administration and disaster recovery Troubleshoot audiovisual equipment and assist in projects Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services Implement other job duties as directed Minimum Qualifications Associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field; equivalent training and experience may be considered Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science Network + Certification in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Reports To Network Administration and Office of Information Technology Job Posted by ApplicantPro
