Our mission is to simplify communication, and we work with brands who want to make a difference no matter their size, scale and reach. We are looking for a Junior Designer with a keen eye for detail and a flare for motion graphics. That special someone who will go the extra mile to add in those further key frames, subtle details and charm that will bring the entire experience together. As a Junior Designer you will work closely with our Head of Creative and will work across the various teams in the studio from Motion Graphics and Video, UX UI and Graphic Design. You should be willing to get stuck in, bring ideas to the table and learn from other members of the team. You will also have the opportunity to not only develop your design skills but to work on your own projects. What is takes to become a Junior Designer at Explosive Brands; A portfolio that shows you have a good understanding of animation, typography, layout and art direction. Animation skills are essential. Good knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop are beneficial though not essential. An ability to work to a brief and present your ideas with a strong rationale to explain your inspiration and thought process. A desire to improve your creative skills and keep up to date with the latest design trends both from within and outside the industry. A collaborative nature. Youll enjoy working with the senior designer and creative leads, as well as with the account team to create engaging campaigns. Collaborating with marketing and social teams to create exciting and effective video content (including ads, GIFs, Instagram posts) for our social media channels. A willingness to learn, develop.
