Journeyperson Residential Electrician Crew Chief - Free Energy Savings Company $65,000 - $78,000 DESCRIPTION: Quality Conservation Services (QCS) and its parent, Free Energy Savings Company, provide free energy conservation improvements to qualified middle- and lower-income households in selected California communities under contracts funded by California utilities including Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), Southern California Gas (SCG) and Southwest Gas (SWG). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties of the Journeyperson Residential Electrician Crew Chief include Supervising an installation crew installing TESLA residential battery back-up systems offered free to moderate and lower-income residences to protect against outages, to reduce peak energy demand and to promote solar power use. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises employees within the department(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the QCS' policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supervising employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Journeyperson electrical certification 1-2+ years of experience with certification Clean driving record Must pass background screening. Must pass drug screening. Other preferred: Bilingual Battery back-up experience ESA Program experience Solar energy experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to stand. Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to walk. Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to sit. Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel. Occasionally/Frequently/Continually exposure to outside weather conditions.
