$40 + hourlyDaily Per Diem Paid (Travel, Housing & Meal expenses covered) Per Diem for qualified applicants traveling in excess of 70 miles per day.Up to $1,000.00 signing bonusJCM Associates, Inc. is hiring Journeyman Steamfitters for a full-time year-round position for the next 4+ years for multiple commercial mechanical construction projects at Marine Corp Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC.JCM Associates, Inc. provides mechanical services along the East Coast region. We take pride in every project we take on and strive to communicate and accomplish the goals each one of our clients sets out to achieve. These services include new construction, renovation and maintenance of HVAC and Plumbing systems for plan-spec, design-build and design-assist commercial and high-rise residential buildings. The job sites for this position will include commercial construction projects of various sizes.Key Responsibilities:Under the general supervision of a designated supervisor, install, maintain, and repair heating, chilled water, condenser water, high and low pressure steam and gas piping systems.Assemble and install piping, valves, and fitting.Minimum Skills/Requirements:5-10 years of experience with commercial mechanical projectsStrong communication skillsKnowledge of commercial HVAC systemsAbility to read, understand and work from drawings, specifications and schematicsUnderstands written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentAttendance, reliability, dependability and flexibilityAbility to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring a positive outcomeKnowledge of appropriate tools and equipment to install piping and plumbing systems.Knowledge of welding, brazing, threading and other plumbing and piping techniques.Maintain and service the tools and equipment necessary to install commercial mechanical piping systems.Sufficient knowledge of pipe hanging and support installations.Have sufficient knowledge of safe working practices and maintain and support company safety programs and attend company paid safety training.Incentives/Benefits:Top Industry CompensationBonus EligibilityPaid HolidaysPaid Vacation401KOwner-funded retirement planHealth, Disability and Life insuranceJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Jacksonville, North CarolinaDrug Free / E.O.E.
