Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Instrumentation Technician with specialized experience in the SAGD environment. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring optimal performance and safety of all instrumentation aspects within our facility. Key Responsibilities: Installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Ensure all instruments are operating safely, accurately, and efficiently. Diagnose faults in instrumentation systems and provide timely solutions. Maintain accurate documentation and records of all activities and repairs. Collaborate with other team members, departments, and external contractors as required. Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines specific to the SAGD environment. Continuously update knowledge and skills pertinent to new instrumentation technologies and best practices. Job Details: Rotation: 8 days on, 4 days off. Work Hours: 12 hours per day. Overtime: Applicable after eight hours per day or 44 hours per week. Accommodation: Camp is provided. Qualifications: Valid Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification. Proven experience in the SAGD environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Comprehensive knowledge of instrumentation equipment, systems, and safety standards. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Valid driver's license. Additional Information: Both employee and subcontractor positions available. Subcontractors must possess their own truck.
