Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Journeyman Industrial Electricians for an overseas assignment. International travel is required for this position. Duties include:Responsible for repairing and installing electrical systems in new industrial construction and maintaining electrical equipment and wiring. Must be able to identify, troubleshoot and repair problems in electrical wiring that occur in an industrial setting. Expected to be able to run tests, isolate problems, replace faulty sections of wiring, and lay conduit for the new electrical systems. Must have good math skills, as need to take measurements and work with numbers. Must also be able to read blueprints. Should have good overall knowledge of all building electrical systems and electrical theory.Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to othersMust be punctual and follow rulesMust be a self-starter and work independently with no or minimum guidanceMust be willing to work long hours to include weekendMust be able to travel internationallyThe successful candidate will be required to successfully complete customer required International Readiness Certifications. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
