EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: * Must have high school diploma or equivalent. * Journeyman status or greater of electrical tradeDESIRED SKILLS: * Perform routine preventative maintenance one electrical systems * Knowledge of AC and DC control systems * Ability to Read drawings such as blue prints, electrical schematics, P&ID's (control loops), and ladder logic as an aid in troubleshooting. * Ability to troubleshoot control systems. Control systems include PLCs, instrumentation, networked controllers, process controllers, hydraulic control valves, pneumatic control valves, motor starters, AC or DC motors and drives. * Must be self-starter and must demonstrate the initiative to identify and solve problems. Able to work with minimal supervision. * Solid verbal communication and listening skills to work effectively with various personnel in the plant such as production operators, supervisors, maintenance mechanics, and engineers. * Ability to create, Evaluate and implement technical notes * Ability to use force/jumper log * Ability to install and repair conduit and wiring * Ability to reference and use National Electrical code for installation and maintenance of electrical systems * Performs journeyman level electrical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures and related electro-mechanical systems by inspecting and testing elements of electrical systems to locate and diagnose faults and malfunctions, performing required repairs through replacement of inoperative parts or re-wiring of circuits in accordance with applicable Electrical Industry Codes, and providing an estimate of repair(and/or replacement) costs beyond the capability to perform. * Has the proven ability to work with hand tools, power tools and industrial test equipmentSCHEDULE DEMANDS: * Per CBA: ability to work multi schedules * Day shift * Unique 4 crew Dupont Schedule (allows 14 days off per month) * Must be able to work flexible and on-call scheduling. * Must be able to work rotating weekends.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Standing for extended periods. * Awkward and/or repetitive movements. * Moving or lifting of equipment, materials, and tools up to 50 lbs repeatedly for an 12 hr. shift. * Climbing extension ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or movement within confined areas. * Work in buildings and areas of fluctuating temperature and weather. * Job requires exposure to weather, dirt, grease, fumes and heat.Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
