RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking qualified Journeyman Electricians for FEMA related projects in Deland, Florida and surrounding areas. All Journeyman Electricians will be required to undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. The job will involve installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and repairing any electrical related issues . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble, install and test electrical equipment in existing commercial buildings. Install electrical components Connect wiring and equipment per code and instructions. Read electrical schematics and drawings. Electrical trade certification or certification in a construction field will be highly desirable. Very strong communication and interpersonal skills Good attitude with the desire to help the team with tasks beyond electrical Qualifications Must possess an active Journeyman's License Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred. Past experience working FEMA projects (a plus) Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical systems. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines and NEC Ability to see the "big picture," i.e. total job and break it into steps.
