You will work under direct supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development and production of Honeywell's existing and next generation of Spectra products by supporting R&D trials for new products and improving the productivity of production assets. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.Due to compliance with US export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Person, which is defined as, US citizen, a US permanent resident, or have protected status in the US under asylum or refugee status. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide field and remote support to assess and improve the performance and quality of assigned production assets.• Provide troubleshooting support to resolve production threats and issues, including afterhours support as needed for emergent issues in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.• Plan sequence of operations for production outages, product changes and other turnarounds• Contribute to the development and execution of trials for new products and expanded asset/product qualifications.• Create and lead projects to improve productivity, safety, quality and/or OEE.• Collaborate with various functional teams, participating and leading cross-functional project teams.• Develop and revise production procedures, training and best practices and mentor production staff and supervisors.• Identify and execute management of change (MOCs) to implement improvements to a process or system and properly document required actions to standardize.• Complete Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to determine central factors leading to a production, safety or quality deviation and develop corrective and preventative actions for continuous improvement.• Assess and implement daily and long-term opportunities for production asset improvements and ensure quality and throughput of assets are meeting required targets.MUST HAVE: • Bachelor’s degree. WE VALUE• Some relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering• 2 - 7 years of experience.• Basic knowledge of the field's standards and specifications• Excellent computer literacy; SAP and MS Office experience• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.• Ability to think quickly and work well under pressure to respond to an emergency.• Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks• Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes.• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to produce concise technical reports.• Performance-driven individuals with a sense of urgency and dedicated to driving results on a problem or project to completion.
