Position Overview The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is primarily responsible for supporting AITC's global mission with primary duty location at our Winter Springs, FL Headquarters. The QA Manager oversees the activities of the QA staff, maintain AITC's quality management system, ensures compliance with laws, regulations, CMMI for Services and ISO 9001:2015 requirements, establishes quality standards, and recommends improvements where necessary; designing, implementing, and improving company quality standards. Analyzing data and information to find areas for growth and improvement. training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met. creating and reviewing reports to track progress and quality issues. Interfaces with business and project teams to understand and resolve any quality issues that are discovered during any phase of the project life cycle. This role is a member of the process improvement team and enterprise risk management team. Responsibilities / Duties Lead the development and enhancement of policies and procedures which support the organization's quality initiatives (CMMI and ISO). Ensure policies and procedures comply to the applicable federal and regulatory requirements, and to CMMI for Services V2.0 and ISO 9001:2015. Monitor compliance to processes and procedures and issue corrective actions for any deviations. Work with external consultants(s) and auditor(s) as needed to prepare for and support audits. Support process owners in new process development and enhancement activities. Conduct independent reviews of documented policies and procedures against defined requirements. Develop and execute plans for annual and periodic internal and external ISO/CMMI assessments and audits. Report and present results of internal and external evaluations and audits to management team. Gather, use, and independently analyze metrics data in support of the quality management system. Track and escalate non-compliance issues and correct action plans to closure. Provide new employee awareness training on ISO and CMMI requirements and AITC's quality policy. Advocate continual process improvement and cross-functional teamwork. Provide input to budget. Plan and facilitate the organization's processes. Conduct Process Change Control Board (PCCB) meetings, as needed, to improve a Process Change Request (PCR) Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or field related to quality or product/service delivery Three or more years' experience in leadership/management roles Certifications in ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI for Services Three to five years hands-on experience implementing CMMI Level 2 or 3 and ISO 9001:2015 Highly comfortable working with senior management and cross functionally Strong business and organizational awareness Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience defining, collecting, analyzing, and reporting metrics data and providing suggestions for improvement Knowledge of federal and regulatory requirements governing quality management systems Analytical and detail-oriented Experience implementing a corrective action process Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Visio High proficiency in developing/documenting processes & procedures Working knowledge applying configuration management and documentation control standards and conventions Preferred Skills/Knowledge ISO 9001 Auditor or CMMI Appraisal Lead Certification Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt, or ITIL Certification Experience supporting companies with multiple organizational quality initiatives and standards Familiarity with achieving and maintaining CMMC compliance Physical Demands Operate standard office equipment and keyboards Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally and walk short distances Use repetitive motion Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading Compensation Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience, expertise, education, and potential.
