Job Description- Preparation of US Sales and USE tax returns, which includes analyzing Sales Reports, calculation of Sales and USE tax, Credits review, Exemption certificate preparation and tracking of credits.E-filing Sales and Use Tax Returns Using Vertex Software.Preparation of all indirect tax returns such as monthly Sales & Use, Property taxes, filing Annual forms and ability to work virtually with teams in US in requesting the information.Assist Senior in State audit, including internal for SOX control.Assisting Senior in handling state notices and assisting with information requested by the States' DOR.Researching and providing opinions on Sales Tax Law Changes and guiding the team.Setting up monthly sales tax payments and ensuring payments are made within the Statutory Due Dates.Working with Corporate accounting team regarding the tax entries for tax accounts.Advice Milacron's departments as those groups seek to ensure their practices and procedures comply with applicable State tax laws and regulations.Proactively monitors the legislative and regulatory landscape for tax related developments.
