Come join us.Huntsman is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Lead supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Rock Hill, SC. This position will report to the Site Manager.Job ScopeThe Maintenance Lead will supervise and direct the activities of personnel responsible for the Planning, Scheduling and Execution of site maintenance activities. Coordinate between Maintenance and Operations to plan and schedule maintenance work. They are responsible for ensuring quality maintenance work is executed according to site and industry best practices and standards. The responsibility also extends to maintenance contractors executing work for Huntsman. They are responsible for implementing all applicable maintenance standards that support inspecting, maintaining, monitoring, and improving the integrity and reliability of plant equipment. In addition, establish and then maintain a Mechanical Integrity Program to meet PSM and RMP requirements regarding Manufacturing equipment at the site.As the Maintenance & Reliability Lead, you will: With limited supervision and moderate decision-making:Manage the assets, team, and processes to deliver World Class EH&S performance in line with the site and company expectations. Lead the team to create and maintain a safe work environment / mindset for employees, contractors, and visitors achieving the site's goal of zero harm to the people, planet and process.Support site and department manager in establishing and managing the site's asset reliability program in an effort to achieve World Class reliability and maintenance effectiveness through the implementation of accepted industry best practices in the following areas:Lead the Inspection, maintenance, repair and documentation of equipment as defined by the site MI procedures, corporate MI procedures, RAGAGEP (ASME/API), & regulatory requirementsDevelop preventive maintenance plans and inspection & test Plans for fixed, rotating and electrical equipment and instrumentation Work Management Process - this includes the entire lifecycle of maintenance planned and scheduled work, kiting and staging, etc.Execution of maintenance strategies including Preventive, Predictive and Condition based maintenance.Routinely review results and data generated from monitoring, testing and PM work to detect and correct issues before failure occurs. Initiate corrective actions as neededContractor Management - this includes safety, procurement practices, core/non-core analysis, vendor performance, etc.MRO Parts Management - review and manage the right sizing of spare parts inventory based on lead time, business impact, consumption, and frequency. Ensure spare parts needed for work/jobs are ordered in a timely manner, and the delivery lead times of spare parts is consistent with the priority of work needing to be performed.Turnaround/Shutdown's - this includes scope definition and coordination between external resources and Purchasing for cost effective and timely execution of work. Manage and facilitate all shutdown schedules and meetings.Measure and monitor Key Performance Indicators for their area (Backlog, Schedule Compliance, Mechanical Downtime, Plan/Actual, etc.).Ensure a maintenance schedule (both weekly and daily) is maintained and updated. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations and Engineering in order to maintain a prioritized maintenance schedule to increase efficiency of the Maintenance Department and ensure all PM and repair work is scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Lead weekly schedule meetings with site internal customers to align priority of task and level schedule workloads for maintenance resources.Manage the Maintenance Costs to ensure budget limits are met.Provide input on capital needs related to infrastructure, asset lifecycle, and material deficiencies.Manage Purchase Orders for planned/scheduled/PM work orders. Perform Goods Received. Manage notifications and work orders for scheduling of site requested work. Approve invoices for in-house and contract work in SAP.Responsible for the site's MI program by prioritizing inspections on the maintenance schedule and facilitating inspections as needed. Ensure that recommendations from inspections are added to the schedule for completion in a timely manner.Identify and drive improvement opportunities while ensuring consistency is maintained across the department. Utilize tools such as 5S, Lean, Visual Management to drive improvements.Develop personnel capability with the right skill sets and competencies to become a high-performing team aligned to the departmental and site objectives.Ensure data input for Maintenance Work Orders are complete.Manage the creation and review of Maintenance and Reliability Procedures and Guidelines.Update and maintain equipment information and PM plans.Uphold housekeeping standards for both employees and contractors.Other general responsibilities:Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by Site Manager.Provides support and mentoring to maintenance team.Fills in for Engineering Lead as needed and is a member of the site leadership team.On-call for plant emergenciesParticipates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.Required Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United StatesBachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3 + years of related work experience. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar environment and role with reliability equipment practice. In addition, oversight of maintenance work management process experience preferred. Specific Skills and Knowledge:Must have a high level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.Must have understanding of SAP as it relates to maintenance Module.Must have experience in a similar environment in a leadership role.Must have a good understanding of Maintenance Planning, Scheduling and Execution best practices.Must have understanding of Maintenance Engineering Practices including Mechanical Integrity (PSM) concepts.Strong communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization - shop floor through management.Familiar with establishing metrics and visual management to track and manage performance.Practical application of Process Safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards: ASME, API.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional a plus.
