Job Description JOB OBJECTIVE: As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Genetic Identity business unit's marketing and communications efforts for our customer events and products. You will work closely with the GI Commercialization team to create graphic design materials, help develop and execute social media campaigns, and other miscellaneous marketing activities. You will also have the opportunity to work with designers and content leads from our Marketing Services department. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend the International Symposium in Human Identification in San Antonio, TX in September 2024. CORE DUTIES:1. Assist with the production of a variety of print and digital marketing materials, including promotional and on-site graphics for key GI events (primarily, but not limited to ISHI), flyers, social media graphics, and email campaigns.2. Work closely with designers and commercialization staff to ensure that all materials are on brand and meet deadlines.3. Prepare and edit images and graphics for use in marketing materials such as those listed above.4. Occasionally provide administrative support to the Commercialization and Product Management teams.5. Contribute to other written content as needed.6. Conduct market research and analyze data from customer surveys, LinkedIn Polls, etc.KEY QUALIFICATIONS:1. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.2. Strong interest in marketing and communications.3. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.4. Excellent eye for detail and strong sense of design.5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.6. Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:1. Experience with social media marketing.2. Bilingual (Spanish).PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1.
