Job Description: Job Description Job Summary The Lead Clinical Office Coordinator reports to the Office Manager and works under the direct supervision of the Office Manager. The primary responsibilities of the Lead Clinical Office Coordinator are to 1) ensure front office administrative and revenue cycle tasks are completed timely and accurately, 2) mentor and develop competencies of clinical office coordinators, and 3) align front desk workflows with the workflows of the medical assistants and the providers. At times, the Lead Clinical Office Coordinator may support the medical tech’s team with additional clinical tasks. Minimum QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience2 years of prior healthcare experience strongly preferredLicensure and/or CertificationNoneSkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and moderate keyboarding are required.Knowledge of EMR systems required.Provide positive and professional customer service to patients and visitors. Manage and handle escalated issues with patients, families and staff, on the phone and in person.Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner.Ability to function and multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment with minimal supervision.Ability to lead others and take on additional responsibilities.Effective time management and organizational skills
