Immediately hiring for this position.As a Job Coach , you are a member of the vocational rehabilitation team and responsible for working with both the individuals and employers to assist the individuals in developing job skills while competitively employed. You will: Assess, evaluate, and document individuals' performance. Collaborate, cooperate, and build relationships with significant agencies, prospective employers and employees; participate in meetings and provide relevant information. Train employees using structured intervention techniques to help the employees learn to perform job tasks as required by employers. Teach interpersonal skills necessary to be accepted as a worker at job site and in the community. Train employees how to use public transportation. Provide on-site skill instruction and overall job training while encouraging the development of natural support systems. Monitor and assess employer's and individual's satisfaction. Complete all assigned administrative tasks relevant to the position. Ensure success of placement by providing advocacy at the work site, in the community and with external provider agencies. Submit oral and written performance and progress reports. Be willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment. Have a commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion. This position offers: $14.00 per hour. Schedule: PRN/Zero Scheduled Hours Position with Monday to Friday hours between 8 AM to 4 PM - You are able to select the days you work. No weekend hours. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency and two years of work experience in competitive employment and six months of experience working with individuals with mental health and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. ACRE certified is preferred but not required. We will pay for ACRE training. Be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs. Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
