Description:

NIRA, Inc. is seeking a Java Developer to support an exciting research and development projects, as well as internal IT needs. You will participate in full lifecycle and full stack development of a software solutions, starting from concept development, solution prototyping, to technology demonstration and transition. In particular, you will work with a number of advanced technologies such as blockchain and cloud. Responsibilities: Developing of a blockchain-based document distribution system based to support the need of Department of Defense (DoD) and other customers Integrating emerging technologies in secure cloud environment based on zero-trust principles Working closely with customers to translate mission needs to software solutions Required Skills: Five (5) or more years of experience as a Computer Programmer, Application Developer Ability to effectively communicate with clients, project manager and team members Experienced in advanced programming languages ( Java, Go, or NodeJS ) or any of the major languages to build software solutions/services. Understanding of fullstack and development experience in Angular Hands-on experience with Integration Technologies - RESTFul and microservices implementation Desired Skills: Understanding of Blockchain Technologies (e.g. HyperLedger Fabric ) Knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI) and its implementations Knowledge and experience in Docker or other container technologies Knowledge and experience in DevSecOps and continuous delivery/continuous integration (CD/CI) Education/Citizenship Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field Required Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Security Clearance NIRA, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, which includes federal holidays and time off, employer-paid health insurance coverage, life insurance, flexible spending account, and a 401(k) retirement plan with generous employer matching.
