Java Developer with BigQuery Job Description FLSA Status: Exempt Location: Atlanta, GA Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in Java, Spring Boot, BigQuery, and GCP to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure applications. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework Develop and maintain RESTful APIs Integrate with BigQuery and other GCP services Write efficient, scalable, and secure code Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development Other duties may be assigned. Education / Experience Minimum 6 years software development experience with Java Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Technical Skills Strong experience in Java development Experience with Spring Boot framework Experience with BigQuery Experience with large data sets GCP Skills & Abilities Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Ability to initiate projects and lead smaller project teams. Excellent communication skills; clearly and effectively communicate with all team members and clients. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for leading, managing, and delegating work to other junior and mid-level developers as needed for project team resources for up to five team members. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, timesheet approval, performance feedback, and team skill assessment and development.
