As a Java Developer, you ll be responsible for designing and developing new Java web applications and helping maintain existing application software. Developers in this role will: Build interfaces and data exchanges with internal and third party data sets with a variety of different protocols and methods. Be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle to convert ideas and concepts into live applications and features turn your vision and skill into reality. Be able to see the big picture of how a change you make impacts other systems and projects today and tomorrow. Be the go-to person, on the server/interface side, to answer when can I have that? Really enjoy what they do! This is not negotiable! We are looking for ROCK STARS in programming fundamentals with the ability to work productively in a team environment. Can you see through tons of minute detail to find the one problem that holds the answers, then, creatively come up with the solution, without causing an issue elsewhere? Do you have experience developing with third party data interfaces/exchange using XML, JSON, SOAP or WSDL? This could be the job for you. You must have 3-5 years experience working in Java development, preferably with customer facing web applications, and a passion to keep up with the constant change of technology. You ll also need 2 or more years experience with JSP / Tomcat / Servlets and source control tools with working knowledge of Oracle or other RDMS.
