That s where you come in. The Java Developer for Client Development plays a critical role in the simplicity of our site access. Your passion for Java helps us and our customers to pursue their passion for cars. As Java Developer for the Client Development / Windows side of our software product line, your job is to keep up with the constant changes and demands of the software interface of mobile, online and apps. Having it look easy is one thing, but actually making it easy requires superior java development skills. Developers in this role will: Be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle to convert ideas and concepts into live applications and features turn your vision and skill into reality. Be able to see big picture of how a change you make impacts other systems and projects today and tomorrow. Be the go-to person, on the client development side, to answer when can I have that? Really enjoy what they do! This is not negotiable! We are looking for ROCK STARS in programming fundamentals with the ability to work productively in a team environment. Do you have a talent for seeing through tons of minute detail to find the one problem that holds the answers then creatively come up with the solution, without causing an issue elsewhere? Can you maintain your own passion and motivation to positively and proactively work with others and anticipate needs? To qualify, you must have 2-3 years relevant experience working in Java development and a passion to keep up with the constant change of technology. You ll also need strong skills developing client applications for Windows Desktop OS (knowledge building Windows services is a plus) and experience with Swing, SWT or AWT. This position requires a deep understanding and experience with threads and concurrency in java hands on, not just classroom exposure and experience with XMPP/Jabber is a big plus!
