Description:
We’re looking to hire a hard-working janitor who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms with soapy water, and shampooing carpets, in addition to maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, and experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done. Responsibilities: • Document areas cleaned and let managers know if major repairs need to be made• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building• Make sure vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, dusting furniture, and emptying trash are completed daily• Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete• Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties like cleaning windows, shampooing carpets, supplying restrooms, changing light bulbs, and performing minor repairs Qualifications: • Over 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job• In good physical condition with excellent health • Familiarity with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment• Must have a U.S. driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic Compensation: $16 hourly About Company: At Valley Fitness we’re not just a gym; we’re a thriving community dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals.
