Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION : Performs janitorial services at assigned locations. Duties include mopping and waxing floors, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, and other janitorial duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior janitorial experience preferred. Prior experience working with people with disabilities helpful. Ability to operate/work with: vacuum, broom, mop, floor polisher, squeegee and cleaning cart. Ability to stand during most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. WORK DEVICES/MATERIALS/EQUIPMENT USED : Soaps, detergent, solvents, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, blowers, brooms, mops, shampooing and waxing equipment, and other equipment as directed.
