Alongside the Executive Chef, you recruit and hire qualified culinary staff who contribute to your positive work environment and are an asset to your team. You also engage in training staff as they develop expertise in the food service industry, and you establish clear expectations and standards of quality. Not only does the Executive Chef help with recruiting and hiring, but they also assist with the development of the perfect menu. You and your culinary staff are tasked to create delicious meals from scratch and with only the highest quality ingredients. Being service-driven, you aim to serve the best, most mouthwatering Italian dishes around. In a restaurant that offers weekend brunch, dinner service, and a full bar, you keep a careful eye on how the various elements operate as a whole. Whenever issues arise, you utilize your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to quickly resolve them. Collaborating with our business owners, you implement budgets, goals, and objectives.
