Description:

CIC Group's Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Operations Team is looking for an individual to join the team whose responsibilities are to 1) support multiple business unit IT Departments and employees through resolutions of complex IT issues, request fulfillment across a broad range of IT systems, and security incident mitigation; and 2) perform assigned activities to help ensure availability, performance, adherence to good practices, and proper documentation of hosted and cloud-based IT solutions. This individual will coordinate the escalation of incidents and requests to other IT personnel within the team, business unit, or 3rd party vendors as necessary. This position requires strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, someone who is a savvy learner across multiple IT disciplines and is resourceful and organized. You will be part of an IT team that is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting highly available IT solutions that help the business meet its objectives. CIC Group provides a flexible work schedule which includes office, remote, and hybrid opportunities. The corporate office is located in Fenton, MO. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support to business unit IT personnel and employees through trouble tickets, and completion of service requests submitted or escalated to the team. Perform assigned activities to help ensure availability, performance, adherence to good practices, and proper documentation of hosted and cloud-based IT solutions. Coordinate escalation of more complex incidents and service requests to other IT subject matter experts within the team or business units. Investigate and coordinate mitigation of security incidents such as reported phishing emails and malware. Provide support of home office staff on a scheduled or as-needed basis. Ensure that IT support tickets are routed to the appropriate teams and are being addressed in a timely manner. Create and update documentation and procedures in knowledge base for IT and user audiences. Be an advocate for business unit IT personnel and employees through observation of issues and requests to recommend improvements and fixes to IT systems. Participate in an on-call rotation, for 1 week every 5-6 weeks, for critical issue response only. Uphold IT policies, security, and other IT best practices. Follow organizational policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience supporting technical and non-technical people both in-person and remotely Ability to learn new skills from others and on your own via formal and informal training Experience using a ticketing system to manage support requests Experience writing technical documentation and procedures for audiences of varied technical skill levels Basic understanding of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Workstation and Server OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Office suite, etc. Basic understanding of networking, both physical and protocols such as IP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, VPN, SMB, HTTPS, Remote Desktop, etc. Understanding of NTFS permissions and best practices Basic understanding of good security practices Experience supporting workstation and office hardware (desktop, laptop, printer, etc.) Excellent written and spoken communication skills Customer-oriented and cool-tempered Highly professional, organized, and trustworthy team player Proficiency in English BS/BA in IT / Computer Science related field, or equivalent work experience 4+ years of work experience in IT field PREFERRED SKILLS: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration Familiarity with Azure Active Directory Job Posted by ApplicantPro
