The selected candidate will lead a team of Supplier Sourcing and Performance professionals who are responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing of technology products and services as well as supplier performance, across the organization. This individual will develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the business objectives and deliver optimal value, quality, and innovation. The ideal candidate will oversee the vendor relationship, contract negotiation, risk mitigation, supplier performance and compliance activities for the IT category, and be a trusted advisor to IT and Business Leadership. Key responsibilities include: Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, such as IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement, to understand their needs and expectations, and provide strategic sourcing support and guidance Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the IT Vendor Management Office Developing and implementing category-specific sourcing strategies, roadmaps, and best practices that optimize the total cost of ownership, quality, and performance of technology products and services Leading complex and high-value sourcing initiatives, including market research, RFP development, supplier evaluation and selection, contract negotiation, and implementation for Cloud, Hardware, Software/SaaS and Managed Services agreements. Managing and developing a team of sourcing professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to sourcing policies and procedures Monitoring and managing the performance, risk, and compliance of technology vendors, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and service level agreements, and resolving issues and disputes as needed Identifying and driving continuous improvement and innovation opportunities within the technology category, leveraging market intelligence, industry trends, and emerging technologies Reporting and communicating the results and value of sourcing activities to senior leadership and other stakeholders, using data-driven metrics and analytics Job Requirements -Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Operations, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience-Experience and Qualifications: 10 plus years of experience in strategic sourcing roles, including leadership experience. Proven ability to build relationships with Suppliers and internal Customers Ability to communicate and lead discussions with executive leadership Ability to navigate formal and informal communication and decision making channels Experience working or leading a sourcing, procurement or legal department Sourcing experience in the IT category, i.e. services, software, hardware, SaaS including development of Managed Services agreements for IT services Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to apply organizational acumen to identify and maintain focus on key success for the organization Securities, Insurance, Financial Services Experience in IT is a plus -Completion of a professional designation preferred; appropriate designations could include Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Purchasing Sourcing Manager (CPSM).
