Connex International, Inc. is seeking a Full-time IT Service Support Specialist in our Danbury, Connecticut office location. This role will work closely with other members of the Information Technology Department to provide hardware and software support to users of the company's personal computers and local area network. Focused on Windows operating system technical and support issues, as well as installing software and maintaining documentation. Skills Motivated, coachable and a strong desire to learn. Innovative - able to streamline and look for ways to always improve and maintain relevant with technology Customer service skills / Team player Must be able to interact with end users in a highly professional manner Excellent communication abilities Acts with a sense of urgency to resolve internal customer IT issues and delivers results in an efficient and timely manner. Ability to work successfully within a team and build effective working relationships Basic information systems skills demonstrated. Help desk/ ticketing system Windows-based computers, operating systems and applications User account creation/ modification/ deletions User computer imaging and application installation VoIP desktop phone setup and installation Qualifications and Education High school diploma or the equivalent required Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology preferred Technical IT certifications preferred Experience working as a Service Desk Technician in a Windows based corporate environment is strongly preferred.
