IT Field Technician

Description:
The IT Field Tech will work under the general supervision of IT Director. This position is responsible for fielding helpdesk phone calls, answering tickets submitted by employees, software installations, and troubleshooting technology issues that arise within the facility. The IT Field Tech will be required to take after-hour and weekend call on a rotating schedule. This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position. BCMC and all employees must comply with CMS mandates regarding vaccines. Responsibilities for IT Field Technician: Basic network support ensuring full connectivity of desktop and other networked peripherals, troubleshooting, and resolving user and site network issues. Performing preventative maintenance and setup for a variety of computer and server related equipment. Set up and terminate employee access. Teach employees to use any technology utilized by the facility and ensure understanding Communicate updates and progress on projects and tickets to involved parties Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or equivalent years' experience required 3-5+ years experience in IT related position preferably in a comparable Critical Access Hospital or organization Ability to function as part of a team and the ability to problem solve swiftly and efficiently Prioritize tasks based on urgency Excellent organization and attention to detail Secondary Functions: All other duties as assigned by CEO or IT Director
