Systems LLC in Germantown designs and manufactures loading dock levelers and dock safety equipment that are essential to distribution in the healthcare, food, water and transportation industries! We're growing and have great opportunity for a skilled Inventory professional to join our team! Responsible for all aspects of inventory management which includes reconciling inventory discrepancies daily. Directly supervise the receipt and management of inventory for purchased and manufactured materials. Coordinate material management requirements with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Engineering. Reporting and analyze data; Perform data analytics daily and ensure inventory accuracy goals are met and maintained within the ERP system. Work closely with manufacturing and purchasing to reduce inventory levels and stock outs. Main location contributor on Systems' continuous improvement events and initiatives, including 5S and Value Stream mapping. Job Responsibilities include: Manage all aspects of inventory control throughout the facility Reconcile inventory discrepancies daily internally and with suppliers. Daily inventory processing related to ERP system and production Compare on hand reports to ERP system and resolve positive / negative on hand discrepancies related to scanning, bill of material, issues etc. Analyze data to determine variances in inventory Ensure the availability to manufacturing areas parts and raw material to ensure production delays do not occur, through organized stocking and proper inventory relief of purchased and manufactured parts. Read utilize, manipulate Engineering drawings and blueprints. Coordinate material management requirements with Purchasing, Manufacturing and Engineering. Assist with purchase order acknowledgements and purchase order creation on a daily basis. Work hand-in-hand with Purchasing on material sourcing and bidding projects. Optimize min/max levels and re-order quantities. Develop into a key user in our ERP system, TCM Work Wise software. Maintain accuracy of Kanban and P cards and make changes when required. Maximize min/max and levels and re-order quantities. Train employees on Systems inventory control systems Facilitate, perform, reconcile Systems cycle count program timely and accurately daily. Ensure receiving labels are being applied to all incoming raw materials and supplies. Ensure bins, racks and material storage systems are properly maintained and identified. Facilitate and Support company-wide physical inventory pre and post inventory day. Resolve issues with obsolete or slow-moving inventory items. Key user of computer software such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, email, Internet, ERP system, etc. Support Systems continuous improvement events and initiatives including 5S and Value Stream mapping. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in inventory, planning. scheduling, production supervision, buyer, supply chain management or similar team role Related education preferred, not required (supply chain, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business) Understands the manufacturing engineering and business process; builds knowledge base on product components, metals, and related manufacturing. Proficient in data analytics Solid verbal and written communication High level computer and reporting skills, including proficient knowledge of MRP, TCM, SAP or other ERP systems, as well as MS Office Suite, Excel and Access or other database.
