Description:
Be a resource to Parts Management by maintaining optimal inventory levels that meet customer demands. Monitor and examine corporate parts processes and provide recommendations for improvement. Have a complete understanding of the parts marketing claim and reconciliation processes. Communicate and establish relationships with other Cleveland Brothers departments to ensure a superior customer experience. Responsibilities: - Maintain corporate parts inventories as directed - Review and process all vendor stock orders daily, as well as reconcile invoices and discrepancies - Understand Caterpillar stock order process and assist when needed - Monitor vendor and Caterpillar back orders and expedite when needed - Submit and reconcile parts marketing claims - Handle other duties or tasks as directed by supervisor - Evaluate and lead with the knowledge gained through the Parts Department procedures and policies - Assist personnel with inquiries and provide preventative guidance Requirements: - Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to work cooperatively and communicate effectively - Superior problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box - Knowledge and understanding of parts operations and their impact on current inventory systems - Must be able to maintain reporting systems to provide management with information Education and Experience: - Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree - Bachelor's Degree or minimum 2 years' equivalent experience - Must possess advanced computer skills We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
