Inventory Clerk Location - Addison, TX Salary : From $18.00/hr Job Overview Help with daily team activities in the inventory department. Explain and have knowledge of Microsoft office applications. Knowledge of cognitive skills such as learning, remembering, and paying attention to detail. Develop relationships with sales representatives throughout our North Texas branch. Help with expiring products that are incoming/outbound to their locations. Job Description Run reports to track expiring product in the field. Order and check in needed expiring replacements for territories. Help the inventory team with other needs such as going to hospitals, shipping products, and miscellaneous computer tasks. Maintain up to date information on new sales representatives that are entering the territory or leaving. Build relationships with sales representatives to provide a better insight on how we can support them. Job Duties Main Responsibilities (70%) Tracking incoming and outgoing products Stocking shelves Running reports and updating database (e.g., Excel) with incoming outgoing products Loading and unloading deliveries Dispose of obsolete inventory as directed Support branch-wide procedures to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories Work closely and effectively communicates with Stryker Inventory Analysts and Sales Team Secondary Responsibilities (20%) Cycle count hospital / warehouse inventory against computerized records Perform job functions at hospitals in stockrooms, SPDs, hallways and other areas of hospitals where Stryker inventory is present Utilize scanner and internal systems to conduct physical counts of inventories Travel will be required in this position (10%) Ability to track and report travel related expenses Availability for multiple days for counts, includes overnight stays. Estimated 10 days over the course of 10 months Job Specification Background of inventory experience Basic Bookkeeping knowledge Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Work on feet for an extended period Valid Driver's license / State ID Ability to multitask many things Dependable - Job requires to self-manage their time Analytical Skills Ethical - making the correct decision that represents the companies' mission, and what is best for the patient. Achiever - Job requires a high motor drive. Professionalism - Candidate must be able to show a professional demeanor and attire while in the work environment Technical - Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with Microsoft suite (Excel preferably) and be able to show a basic understanding of Windows operating system. Team Player - Willingness to work well with others and take direction is required. A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a team environment is required. Customer-oriented - Minimum of 3 years' experience in showing interpersonal skills such as: communication, attentiveness, active listening, decision-making, etc. Adaptability - Flexibility and willingness to work in a fluid work environment will be strongly considered.
