Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide The Mission of the Train Control Métier Department is to integrate on Rolling Stock On Board Train Control & Information Solution (TC&IS) and Develop Train level Functions according to Customers Requirements within an Optimal schedules, budgets and resources Under the supervision of the Train Control Engineer and the Software Team Lead, the Software Engineer Intern works closely with colleagues to design, develop and test the software and tools, which are used to support the operation and maintenance of railway vehicles. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the software Engineer Intern contributes to the development and integration process of the Train Control and Management System (TCMS). YOUR INTERNSHIP During your internship, you will be required to perform the following tasks: Update and improve the software packaging application developed in C# Create packaging improvement scripts Participate in technical solutions Document packaging application and scripts developed Participate in TCMS and WMDS system integration tests YOUR PROFILE As the ideal candidate, you: • study in software engineering, computer science or equivalent • have good knowledge of information technology (IT) based on Windows • have good knowledge of C#, Python, Power Shell and/or Bash programming • have a good knowledge of XML • have good verbal and written communication skills Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting.
