Position Summary: ultra focused - Work together to fearlessly uncover new possibilities Global Packaging Operations (GPO) performs identification, validation and qualification of processes and components and manages the production for Clinical and Commercial products. This is inclusive of primary packaging, secondary packaging, and medical devices. The GPO Intern will play a support role in facilitating the qualification of various finished goods packaging sites by drafting and coordinating documentation approvals and conducting crucial ERP transactions. This position will involve close collaboration with internal teams, printing partners, packaging Contract Organizations, and packaging testing facilities. Additionally, the intern will contribute to a diverse range of clinical and commercial packaging projects, enhancing their overall experience and skill set in the process. Work Model: Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite. Responsibilities: Support the creation and maintenance of documentation associated with packaging component development and qualification, i.e. specifications, protocols, reports, presentations, etc. Develop and execute testing protocols per ASTM or ISTA standards. Support the creation and maintenance of commercial items in the ERP system. Interface with the Packaging Engineer, Packaging Design and external suppliers to develop mockups for evaluation and selection. Participate in risk analysis on component design, processes and vendor on-boarding as required for packaging components and processes. Perform data analysis on key Global Packaging Operations workstreams.
