Intern - Hydro Safety Work Location : Great Falls, MT Pay range : $17.00 - $20.00/hour Employment Status: Temporary (May through August, 2023) (September - December, 2023 potential part time) External candidates apply at northwesternenergy.com Internal candidates apply through iConnect . About this position: Intern will provide general safety support to the Hydro Operation and Maintenance departments. Will work in both the office and field environment. About this job: Lifting of materials up to 35 pounds Travel within the service territory 15% of time Conduct research, document and develop reports Provide assistance to Company safety professionals and conduct ergonomic evaluations, work site inspections, safety meeting presentations, industrial hygiene sampling (e.g. noise, indoor air quality) field inspections, visits, etc.; capacity projects and develop job hazard analysis support, behavioral safety support, safety audits, hazard communication, respirator hazards in the workplace, performance of employee sampling for air containments and VPP objectives.
