Aquarion Water Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eversource. Job Summary The Cross Connection Department is looking for an intern! Principal Responsibilities Offer support to contractors to ensure test reports are input in a timely manner. Support to field techs regarding adding/deleting equipment. Assist with hydrant rig rental program- complete permits, accept payment from customers, schedule pickup and return appointments. Assist Distribution as needed. Education/Certifications Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work independently, thoroughly, and safely, applying training given. Basic computer skills - desktop knowledge and good typing. Intern must be enrolled in an accredited college program. Individual must be a highly motivated, self starter who can work with minimal supervision. Computer literate. Ability to multi-task. Organized. Excellent problem solving & critical decision making skills. Salary This position will run from mid-May through the end of August. Intern will report to our Bridgeport location. Full-time (30 hours) is preferred. Intern will be expected to work from 8:00AM-3:00PM. This role will pay $17.00 an hour.
