Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders• Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied• Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met• Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs• Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required• Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders• Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license• Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial• Must be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customer Compensation: $56,000 at plan earnings + commission About Company: On May 1, 1947, a group of Idaho farmers and ranchers founded Idaho Farm Insurance Company that later became Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Idaho.
