Responsibilities: • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders• Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals• Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio• Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales• Collaborate with policyholders to develop insurance risk management and other profiles that specify the best policies for their evolving insurance needs Qualifications: • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial• Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial• Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory Compensation: $75,000 at plan yearly About Company: New York Life, established in 1845, is one of the most respected and successful companies in America and internationally.
