Functions: *** Adjudicate very complex Construction Defect claims reflecting the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination. *** Analyze claim forms, policies, endorsements, client instructions, and other records to determine whether the loss falls within policy coverage and write coverage position letters. *** Properly set claim reserves. *** Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, including interviews of all involved parties. *** Manage telephone calls and written correspondence to and from insured, claimants, etc. *** Identify, assign, and coordinate expert resources to assist case resolution. *** Manage claims in litigation and negotiate settlements. *** Ensure cases move to best financial outcome and timely resolution.
