Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Instructor II, Technical in Orlando, FL. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for primarily providing technical training to internal and external customers on HVAC Division products and systems offered and related software packages. Responsibilities include in-house and on-site customer instruction. The Technical Instructor will have personal interaction with various levels of customers ranging from dealer/distributor owner/president to engineer to contractor/service mechanic on a daily basis. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Provide technical training for internal and external customers both on-site and in Mitsubishi Electric HVAC training centers. Setup, configure and maintain training equipment and information libraries. Conduct on-site assessments of customers' installation and maintenance functions to determine needs for follow-up training. Provide back-up technical support for internal and external customers when required Aid in the development and maintenance of new courses and course materials. Perform other duties as assigned. Willing to travel up to 40% to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associates degree or a minimum of five years technical experience in the HVAC field. Minimum of two years' experience in formal training delivery. Military technical training experience is a plus. Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electronic and refrigerant flow systems. Highly enthusiastic and energetic person capable of building and maintaining customer interest during training. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and through formal presentations. Comprehensive working knowledge of the tools included in the Microsoft Office Professional Suite. Ability to translate complex thoughts and ideas and communicate them in an easy to understand form. Ability to work with culturally diverse groups across different functional areas and geographic locations. Ability to work with little supervision Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record Team player demonstrating METUS core values including a desire to win together, deliver excellence, drive sustainability, focus on execution and learn continuously. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
