This part-time position will assist with the instruction of the Dixie Technical College Nursing Assistant program. This teaching assistant must ensure, with the instructor, that a positive, upbeat, diversified, interesting and active learning environment occurs in both classrooms and labs, giving the students relevant and worthwhile experiences daily. The responsibilities include assisting in planning, organizing and implementing an effective instructional training program in a professional learning environment that guides, encourages and enables students to develop into industry professionals. The Instructional Assistant must be a Certified Nursing Assistant, will work up to 20 per week, and is paid $20 to $24 per hour, depending upon experience. Dixie Tech is a public technical college located in a new state-of-the-art campus in St. George, Utah.
