We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Fresh Produce Inspector to join our team based in Surrey, BC. Our Retail Support Centre is open 7 days a week and this position will work 5 shifts comprised of weeknights and weekends from 3:30 pm – 11:30 pm Here’s where you’ll be focusing: As the Fresh Produce Inspector you will: Inspect inbound product according to established Standard Operating Procedures and specifications which includes random sampling and defect identification Reject and document product that does not meet specifications Monitor RSC handling and storage procedures in conjunction with RSC Management (i. e. cold chain management and slotting) Verify weight, temperature, size, pressure test, refractometer test, package and pallet integrity of product Identify superior quality of product and communicate.
