Be it in wind power, solar power, electronics, electric vehicles, aeronautics, space or countless or other sectors, wherever technology is progressing, you will always find a bit of Mersen.INSPECTION PERSONNELPosition Type: Permanent, Full TimeLocation: Greenville, MichiganReports to: Department SupervisorMission Perform regular quality assessments on incoming material and outgoing orders Reject products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, specifications, and GD&T Capability to accurately measure part dimensions, examine functionality and verify specifications Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control Thoroughly document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records Willingness to communicate and work within a team environment Maintain cleanliness in work area Promote, comply, and always emphasize safety Use and operation of a powdered industrial truck; Hilo/Forklift Responsible for calibration of hand tools such as micrometers, caliper, pin/plug gages, ring gages etc. Required Skills Analytical and numerical skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to work with decimals and fractions Use of various precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Willingness to learn advanced measuring equipment such as vision inspection systems, CMM and FARO Ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of time Basic computer skills; Microsoft Word/Excel Able to lift 50 pounds Good interpersonal skillsWhy Join US?At Mersen, we are proud to be drivers of progress and to contribute to tomorrow's world.
