This individual will contribute to the overall team's success by identifying sales opportunities, current customer trends, orders and inquiries that promote the ease of doing business. The Inside Sales Specialist will work directly with all internal Elkay departments and work to develop team processes.Responsibilities:Identifies sales opportunities and utilizes a team-based selling approach to meet defined sales goals.Analyzes customer provided POS data along with internal tableau data to build visual data dashboards to pursue new business opportunities with accounts and/or to add new products to their portfolio.Manages gap/assortment analysis by customer - uncovers incremental opportunities.Research other go-to-market channels to understand where we could leverage programs and processes that are working in different sales channels.Works closely with business partners on quoting, identifying leads, crossing competitive products, and providing product recommendations for customer inquiries.Provides reporting and analysis of sales activities to internal and external users.Implements reporting for Joint Business Planning and Forecast Cycle processes, by account.Day to day support of customers/account activities and associated needs.Follows up with customers to ensure adherence to our Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy and Authorized Reseller Policy (ARP). Is the liaison between the customer and our MAP/ARP internal team.Develops and assists with Excess/Obsolete product strategy.Project management for channel initiatives.Assist with Trade Show activities.Backup for account managers when needed.Will act as a direct line of contact for Customer Care.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required.3+ years of sales or account support experience in the Plumbing & Mechanical industry required.Oracle ERP experience preferred.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to work in a team environment with strong collaboration skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Customer-facing and focus mentality.Ability to handle multiple projects at a time.Proficient in data gathering and analysis tools to create meaningful reports.Continuous improvement mindset to identify efficiencies in processes or programs.Solutions-oriented problem solver.Total Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift ProgramEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
