JOB DESRIPTION CUSTOMER SERVICE / INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE SAYLITE HOLDINGS LLC operates business units under Saylite, Mobern, and Vantage Lighting. Vantage® is a product family that encompasses LED lighting fixtures engineered with particular attributes that support the specification requirements of the downlighting, cylinder and high / low bay marketplace. Vantage® Lighting operates its primary facility in East Providence, Rhode Island. DESCRIPTION - The Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative for Vantage® will be responsible for customer service and inside sales activities of the Company relative to Vantage®. This position is a newly created position due to growth, and will report directly to the Customer Service / Inside Team Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES - Receive calls from sales agents and customers and process accordingly Retrieve purchase orders from customers, validating detail and entering into system Contact sales agents and customers to promote business Produce quotes for agents and customers as requested Follow up for outstanding quotes to determine close date or issues All such other activities as directed, and for the good of Vantage® REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Service / Inside Sales role within a manufacturing environment. Lighting experience is a plus Ability to read product specification sheets Eagerness to contact sales agents and customers to promote business Ability to learn low level technical product attributes High School diploma, and Bachelor's Degree will be favored To work at the manufacturing facility Mon - Fri 8:00am- 5:00pm in East Providence, RI CLASSIFICATION Full time hourly Administrative Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature & levels of the work performed by employees, but are not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, & skills required of personnel so classified.
